These courses are open to both our employees and external individuals or organizations seeking top-tier security training. We want to emphasize that we do not poach anyone to join our company, and there is no information about First Response included in the training.

Course Description: 

Oregon Unarmed DPSST Training Course equips individuals with the skills and knowledge needed for unarmed security certification as required by the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST). Through interactive lectures and practical exercises, participants will cover essential topics such as legal aspects of security, conflict resolution, emergency response protocols, and effective communication. This course prepares aspiring security professionals for a rewarding career and enables them to apply for their DPSST certification upon completion, making it ideal for individuals or organizations seeking compliant training.

  • Class format: In-person course
  • 2 days, 7 hours each day
  • Training is valid for 6 months

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age

Course Description:

The Oregon Unarmed DPSST Renewal Course is designed for individuals seeking to maintain their unarmed security certification in accordance with the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) requirements. This course offers a refresher on critical topics, including legal updates, conflict resolution techniques, emergency response protocols, and effective communication skills.
